The Things Industries, Colt, and CIN Provide LoRaWAN® Test Coverage in Shoreditch, London
CIN has announced the integration of LoRaWAN® technology into its Street Arc platform in Shoreditch, in partnership with The Things Industries and Colt Technology Services. The Street Arc platform offers open, shared spaces for telecom infrastructure—enabling 5G, Wi-Fi, and now LoRaWAN services in densely populated urban areas.
By harnessing The Things Industries’ LoRaWAN network management platform, businesses, local governments, and citizens can access LoRaWAN coverage free of charge for an initial period. This initiative is designed to drive innovation by encouraging organizations to connect IoT devices and explore a variety of use cases, from smart city solutions to environmental monitoring.
A first pilot shows that thousands of enterprise IoT datapoints were received by the Street Arc - ready to remove friction from data-driven processes.
